Please read the general instructions to the candidates carefully before filling the form
1. The candidates are required to submit the application through Samarth Online Portal only (https://iitbhunt.samarth.edu.in).
2. The online portal shall remain open from 29.04.2026 to 19.05.2026 (till 05:00 PM). No other method of submission of application shall be entertained.
3. After successfully submitting the application online, it is mandatory to obtain a printout of the application form. Furthermore, the printout of the application form—along with self-attested copies of the supporting documents attached thereto—must be sent to the Institute, addressed to the Registrar, Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi–221 005, on or before May 26, 2026. The printout must include only the documents submitted on the Samarth portal.
4. Before submission of the online form, the candidates are advised to carefully read the “Advertisement” and “General Instructions to the Candidate” printed here under.
5. The positions are purely temporary and confers no right of permanent appointment/absorption in the Institute.
6. Application fee of Rs. 250/- (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty Only) is required for UR/EWS/OBC candidates and Rs. Nil (Zero) is required for SC/ST/PwD/Women candidates.
7. The fee(s) shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor can the fee(s) be held in reserve for any other application or examination or selection.
8. Applicants should ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria for the post before applying. Admission to any stage of the selection process will be purely provisional subject to confirmation that the candidate satisfies the prescribed eligibility criteria.
9. Age relaxation will be given as per GoI norms.
10. Candidates are advised to mention their correct and active e-mail address in the application, as all the correspondence like issuance of call letter or any other information on will be communicated through e-mail only.
11. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
12. Mere eligibility will not entitle any candidate for being called for interview / appear in the selection process. More stringent criteria over and above the advertised criteria may be applied for short-listing the candidates at any stage of the selection process. Applicants having higher qualification and merit may be given preference.
13. Application incomplete in any respect; and any fresh papers/enclosures/documents after the last date shall not be considered.
14. The Institute may verify the antecedents or documents submitted by a candidate either at the time of appointment or during the tenure of the training. In case, it is detected that the documents submitted by the candidates are fake or the candidate has clandestine antecedents/background and has suppressed the said information, his/her training shall be liable to be terminated.
15. In case of any dispute/ambiguity that may occur in the process of selection, the decision of the Institute shall be final.
16. No Accommodation facilities will be provided by the Institute.
17. Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before appearing the interview that they possess the minimum essential Qualifications and Experience laid down in the Advertisement.
18. The Institute reserves the right to (a) fill or not fill any advertised positions and (b) fill consequential vacancies arising from available wait-listed candidates.
